Getting set for another great few months of making music

Before we begin with this post, we have to thank everyone once again for the tremendous amount of support we received at our December 15th concert. We had a packed audience filled with music lovers and were delighted to hear all of your compliments and thoughts on our performance. It was amazing to be able to spend time with all of you afterwards in our reception as well. Most of all, thank you all for your unbelievable generosity with donations. We were blown away at the financial support that we received, and it will go a long way toward purchasing music and other necessary items for our chorus to help us grow and flourish.

For those of you who were unable to attend the concert: one of our tenors, David Starry, recorded the concert, so be on the lookout for some recordings eventually – we’ll post a notification on our Facebook and Twitter pages once they’re available!

As we turn the calendar to 2014, we also turn our attentions to our next concert. We have yet to select a date for the show (or even a venue), but Ben has already chosen some music and it promises to be an excellent repertoire.

With it being a new season in Chant Claire, it’s also a good time for anyone interested in singing with the choir to come forward! We do have some processes in place for joining the choir, but it’s not extremely complicated. Simply get in touch with our director, Ben Bedroske, at bedroske@chantclaire.org, and he will give you more information about what you need to prepare for a brief audition. We’d be happy to welcome new members. As you likely saw if you came to our concert in December, we have a lot of fun with this group and have formed a great community together Angels Camp.

As always, if you have any questions about anything related to the choir, feel free to fill out the contact form on our site. We’ll make updates to the site soon with the date of our spring concert and its full repertoire list as soon as that information is available.

Stay warm out there!
