We are pleased to announce that we will once again be offering preferred seating for our spring concert, after the success of the program last fall.
The preferred seating program will work exactly the same way it did for our fall concert at the Irish Cultural Heritage Center, Til Traveling Days are Done. Beginning Saturday, April 1st, interested concertgoers have the option of reserving preferred “best-in-house” seats for a minimum $20 donation per ticket. The deadline for purchasing preferred seats is May 1st, or until 50 seats have been sold, whichever comes first. Once at the concert, simply give your name to the volunteers at the door, and they will usher you to your seating area.
Additionally, anyone who donates $50 or more through the preferred seating program will be recognized as a sponsor in the programs for our spring concert.
We began this program as a way to allow people to reserve some great seats without having to arrive too early. It also is a much-appreciated source of revenue for our group, which is quickly growing in scope. We are taking on our largest work yet and hiring some very high-quality musicians to perform with us in our performances of Requiem for the Living this spring. All donations you provide to us through this preferred seating program and at our concerts will help us to pay these artists and continue to be able to work with high-quality musicians in the future.
Thank you all once again for your continued support.
Reminder: Eau Claire collaboration
We can’t wait to begin our spring concert season on April 10th, with a collaborative concert with the UW Eau Claire Concert Choir at the site of last year’s spring concert, the St. Joseph’s Center (1501 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee). The concert begins at 7:00 and will feature 45 minutes of music from each of our groups. It is free to attend, but as always, donations are welcome. Come out, support Eau Claire as they travel through the state performing, and hear some of what we’ve been working on this spring at Chant Claire!
